A simple and neat hexagonal design of BP 153 identity has been applied to 153
Clip. Clip of the pen let users to carry the pen more easily and conveniently.
It has thicker body and better grip than original BP 153, offers vibrant ink
colors and soft writing experience. There are three types of line width: 0.5mm,
0.7mm, 1.0mm and different body colors are depending on the line width.
A Monami official said, “In order to reward consumers who have shown love for
Monami BP 153, we have launched new product that enhances user convenience with
the unique simplicity of BP 153. We will continue to strive to develop products
that can show various charms while maintaining challenging spirit and heritage
of Monami.”
Monami produces 200,000 BP 153 per day and has sold approximately 4.3 billion
of this item within and outside of Korea so far. Monami is currently expanding
its lineup by introducing the 153 series with various materials and colors
tailored to the latest trends.
