handwriting with comfort

- Enhanced, more
comfortable finger grip with “Gripper” - 3 colors of
black, blue, and red and 2 ink thicknesses of 0.5 and 0.7 mm available - Highly recommended
for students and test takers engaging in extended handwriting Stationery specialist Monami unveils its “153 Gripper,” the
direct descendant of the “153” line that dominated the ball point pen market, now
with more improved finger grip system. As the name “Gripper” suggests, the new product puts
heavy emphasis on enhanced finger grip by actively considering users' complaint
against the existing 153 line, whose thin body causes fatigue after extended
handwriting. The new 153 Gripper employs a thicker part for more comfort
to the index finger and thumb, especially by applying rubber grip that reduces fatigue
and accommodates both fingers for more pleasant and easier handwriting. To secure diversity, 153 Gripper will be offered in 3
colors of black, blue, and red as well as 2 ink thicknesses of 0.5 and 0.7 mm
on both Monami website and in retailers nationwide starting February for KRW
800. “This new product is an innovation following years of struggle
to reflect consumer demands as diverse and deep as the long history of the 153
line. It will serve as the new go-to tool for students and test takers engaging
in extended handwriting,” a Monami official said. The “Monami 153” line debuted on May 1, 1963 as the first
ball point pen in Korea, and it has been the steady seller of the company since
then. Even after half a century, Monami still keeps striving for constant
changes and innovation in its offerings by adding values and collaborating with
other industries.
