Monami Releases Premium Oil-Based Ballpoint Pen “Plus Pen 3000 Prime”

Stationery company Monami announced on the 17th the launch of its premium oil-based ballpoint pen “Plus Pen 3000 Prime,” which carries the identity of “Plus Pen 3000.”

“Plus Pen 3000 Prime” is an upgraded version of Monami’s best-selling water-based pen “Plus Pen 3000,” featuring a modern, luxurious look achieved by brass metal. The existing water-based pen was converted into an oil-based ballpoint pen and redesigned as a click-style pen. A hairline technique with thin stripe patterns was applied to the pen body, adding the natural texture of metal to the design.

Wrapped in elegant paper packaging that makes it ideal for collection or gift, the set consists of a △ Tin case, a △ Premium Oil-based Ballpoint Pen, an △ FX 4000 Refill Cartridge, and an △ Information Leaflet. The ballpoint pen is available in two body colors―silver and ash gray―with the tin case matching the same colors.

It features black ink and offers a soft, comfortable writing sensation with a 0.7 mm tip. The package includes an additional FX 4000 refill cartridge, the same one used in Monami’s 153 premium pens.

The newly launched “Plus Pen 3000 Prime” will be available for purchase starting from the 17th through Monami’s Naver Brand Store and offline Monami Stores nationwide. To celebrate the release, Monami's Naver Brand Store is holding a free engraving event. The retail price is KRW 70,000.
