Stationery brand Monami revealed on the 19th that it has released
two new markers designed for industrial use in carpentry and construction: the
“Pro Cap Dry Pencil Marker” and “Pro Cap Dry Pencil Lead." Tailored for industrial sites by Monami, the Pro Cap series boosts
work efficiency with its versatility on surfaces like glass, stainless steel,
wood, and tile. Monami has leveraged its technological capabilities to launch
marker products with various uses continuously―including kitchen, living, and
decor―beyond simple writing instruments. The latest Pro Cap Dry Pencil Marker features a knock-type
mechanical pencil with a 2.8 mm graphite core, enabling precise work during
wood or tile cutting tasks. With its quiver cap design, the marker can be quickly removed and
placed back in with one hand, with the clip attachment allowing it to be fixed
to a tool belt or a pocket. The top of the quiver cap is equipped with a
sharpener for sharpening the refill lead when needed, and the bottom features a
hexagonal bit that can double as a screwdriver; thus increasing its utility. The Pro Cap Dry Pencil Lead (refill) comes in three colors: black
graphite 2B lead, and crayon-type red and yellow. Depending on the marking
surface and its shade, users can select the appropriate type and color,
changing the lead to match the site conditions. According to a Monami spokesperson, the newly launched product is meant to improve work efficiency at industrial sites. “We will continue to build on our 60 years of technical experience to create more consumer connections and deliver useful products for real-life and industrial use,” the Monami spokesperson added. |
